"I am Francios de Wet, owner of Sandveld Safaris. I was born into a family of adventurers, exploring Africa for more than 300 years. I have been a big game hunter all my life and have traveled Southern Africa extensively. I know this country, the animals and its people by heart and when you hunt with Sandveld Safaris, I will be your personal guide.

I started Sandveld Safaris in the early nineties and have seen it grow into a respected and prosperous company -- A fact our many hunting friends can vouch for. This success can be attributed to constant attention to detail, flexibility in catering to every need, the professional, honest and friendly way in which we conduct our business, excellent hunting areas and the great value for money our safaris offer. We developed the phrase, "Total Experience", and that is exactly what you will have.

South Africa is an independent republic at the southern tip of Africa. It is a land which is amongst the most beautiful and diverse in all creation. A world in one country. It boasts more than 27,000 plant species, 29 indigenous antelope species, and many other creatures including primates, small cats and hares.It is also the only country in the world where all of the big five can be legally hunted. South Africa has a stable government, excellent support services and yet has some of the wildest, most remote and unspoiled areas.

South Africa comprises eight different vegetation regions with animal species and hunting conditions typical to each ares. Wildlife is expertly managed by both government and private landowners. Game is abundant and trophy size excellent. Due to this diversity in South African landscapes, animal species and climate conditions, I have selected concessions in three major hunting areas: Sandveld, Bushveld, and Zululand.
